Lahore (December 15, 2017): Dense fog has engulfed Punjab and disrupted the flow of traffic as visibility level decreased to below 50 metres on Thursday night.
Police closed Pindi Bhattian to Faisalabad and Gojra sections of Motorway due to dense fog. The Motorway spokesperson suggested the citizens to avoid unnecessary journey tonight.
The spokesperson said that visibility level decreased from zero to 100 metres on Lahore-Bahawalpur section of Motorway. He said dense fog also blanketed M2 Motorway. The spokesperson said visibility level on Lahore to Pindi Bhattian Motorway decreased to 50 metres.
Whereas Islamabad to Kallar Kahar road was also closed for heavy traffic due to thick fog. The motorway spokesperson suggested the citizens to use fog lights and avoid cellular phone during the journey. He asked the citizens to avoid unnecessary journey tonight.
