KARACHI: Deputy Speaker Sindh Assembly Shehla Raza has received a threatening letter, in which she was threatened to pay 500 million rupees as extortion.
According to details, Deputy Speaker Sindh Shehla Raza has received a threatening letter, in which the extortionist naming Imran Lashari demanded to pay 500 million rupees and if he did not receive the amount he threatened to blow the Sindh Assembly building and to kill Deputy Speaker. Imran Lashari has also added his cell phone digits in the letter.
Deputy Speaker confirmed threatening calls, saying that the person who threatening was speaking Urdu language clearly and he had threatened to kill me like Benazir Bhutto. She said that she has made aware DG Rangers and IG Sindh including other officials regarding the letter; hence the letter must be investigated.
Shehla Raza handed over extortion chit to SSP South, on which investigation has been started.
