GAZA: Gaza experienced another night of terror as relentless Israeli airstrikes devastated the region, claiming the lives of at least 104 Palestinians, among them numerous children.
Reports from Arab media indicate many victims were asleep when bombs struck their homes, trapping families beneath the rubble. The sound of mothers’ wails and children’s crying filled the smoke-choked streets amid the fiery destruction overhead.
The casualty figures include 46 children, with over 253 people wounded. Hospitals are overwhelmed with patients, and medical personnel are doing their best to save lives amid emotional distress. The total number of Palestinians killed since the start of the conflict has now risen to 68,643, with more than 170,000 injured.
Despite claims from Israel of a ceasefire, reports suggest that gunfire and explosions continue to be heard throughout Gaza.
Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump criticized Hamas, stating that the group must “change its ways” and cease political posturing over human suffering, warning that ongoing violence could lead to Hamas’s destruction.
Hamas has rejected Israeli assertions of troop attacks in Rafah, warning that if Israeli brutality persists, it may delay the handover of bodies of hostages held in Gaza.
