Rawalpindi (April 15, 2018): Director General Inter-Services Public Relations Major General Asif Ghafoor on Sunday condemned the attack on Justice Ejazul Hassin’s residence.
In a press release, the DG ISPR urged to create a safe atmosphere so that state-institutions could play their role effectively. He asked all the stakeholders to continue efforts for the restoration of peace.
Earlier, Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani and top political leaders of the country including PTI Chairman Imran Khan, PPPP President Asif Zardari and others had condemned the firing incident at the residence of the Supreme Court Judge Justice Ijaz ul Ahsan.
In a message from the prime minister, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi directed the concerned officials to bring the perpetrators to the book as soon as possible.

Former President and PPP President Asif Zardari condemned the firing incident and demanded for a high level judicial inquiry into the incident. “This is a serious issue and the perpetrators should be unveiled and brought to justice,” he said.
PTI Chairman Imran khan also strongly condemned the firing at Justice Ijaz ul Ahsan’s house and said that the Sicilian-mafia-like tactics to pressurize senior judiciary are unacceptable in any democracy.
