Rawalpindi: Director General (DG) Inter-Service Public Relations Major General Baber Iftakhar today demanded a thorough and high level probe into the sorrowful death of senior journalist Arshad Sharif.
In his statement, the DG media wing of of Pakistan (ISPR), Major General Baber Iftakhar said that Kenyan police have admitted that the matter occurred owing to the mistake of its police.
The DG ISPR said that Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has also contacted to Kenyan President over the matter and the government is constantly in contact with the Kenyan government.
General Baber Iftakhar said that a probe should also be conducted why did he ( Journalist Arshad Sharif) compel to leave?
He said that the action should also be taken against those who are levelling allegations without any evidence.
