Rawalpindi: Director General Inter Service Public Relations, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has said that military operation in any area succeeds when the people identify the terrorists.
Talking to students belonging to Balochistan in the ongoing internship program in details, the DG ISPR said that it is not that the army vacate any area, conduct operation and the terrorists return back to area when the army will leave the area.
We have to conduct it very sensibly, hence it is called an Intelligence based operation adding that the army is not at all interested to take lives of innocent people on the name of terrorism, the DG ISPR said.
He said “If a citizen gives refuge to any terrorist or keeps explosives material at home then he will have to face consequences.
He said that we have to work joining with the people and the administration adding we have bring surfacing the facilitators and planners in the front.
He said that whole of village or area can’t be given punishment on the terrorism of a person adding that the people have to take stand and they are standing against the terrorism.
Now, the people of Balochistan are informing that these are the terrorists and these are their facilitaors, he said.
He said that the people of Balochistan have fed up and very much disturbed with the terrorists.
He said “Go to Balochistan and see how much the people of Balochistan are intelligent and farsighted.
There are hundreds of examples those Balochs who have gotten education, they have become owner of their area and their destiny, he apprised.
Renowned scientist from the Cambridge University, Samad Yar Jang belongs to Buleda school adding Shahzeb Rind also belongs to Balochistan and owner of his destiny, he said.
Females students of Balochistan are appointed deputy commissioners in various districts.
