Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Lt. General Asim Bajwa on Saturday said that India’s claim of conducting surgical strike inside Pakistan was incorrect and fabricated.
Briefing media at Bagh Sar in AJK after a visit to Line of Control along with journalists, he said that Pakistan Army responded in befitting manner to the unprovoked across the LoC firing by the Indian Army, wherein the enemy suffered heavy losses.
He said that they were sure there had been casualties from Indian side. The DG ISPR said that Pakistan Army had defended the country in the past and would do the same now. Warning India he said that Pakistan Army was ready to respond to any aggression of India.
He wondered as to why India was concealing facts from its people? He said that the Modi government and India media were continuously lying to their people about the farce surgical strikes.
He said that had there was any credence to the Indian government’s claim then they should take journalists to the LoC and presented evidences before them.
To a question he said that if any Indian soldier had crossed the LoC inadvertently, they were looking into it.
