Rawalpindi (August 21, 2017): Director General (DG) Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor will address a press conference today at 5:00 pm.
As per details, head of military media wing Gen Ghafoor will brief media about Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad.
The DG ISPR will apprise media about the progress in the ongoing anti-militancy and terrorism operation and successes achieved so far.
It is to be mentioned here that Pakistan Army had launched ‘Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad’ across the country in February this year .
Radd-ul-Fasaad — which translates roughly to ‘elimination of discord’ — is aimed at indiscriminately eliminating the “residual/latent threat of terrorism”, consolidating the gains made in other military operations, and further ensuring the security of Pakistan’s borders.
Pakistan Air Force, Pakistan Navy, Civil Armed Forces (CAF) and other security and law enforcing agencies (LEAs) are actively participating in the operation.
