ISLAMABAD: Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry paid a visit to Quaid-e-Azam University in Islamabad on Wednesday, where he was warmly welcomed by the faculty and students.
During an engaging session, the ISPR DG extensively addressed the country’s internal affairs, defense-related issues, and the professional responsibilities of the Pakistan Army. He also highlighted the distinction between social media propaganda and authentic information, offering clarity to the participants.
The Vice Chancellor of Quaid-e-Azam University expressed appreciation for the insights shared by the ISPR DG, emphasizing that his remarks about India had been validated on an international level, with Pakistan’s armed forces demonstrating superiority over Indian technological capabilities.
Both students and faculty members described the session as highly informative and beneficial, acknowledging that it dispelled various misconceptions.
Students additionally emphasized their pride in identifying as Pakistanis first, asserting that the Pakistan Army represents their own people. They extended gratitude to the ISPR DG for providing well-reasoned and thoughtful responses to their concerns regarding misinformation.
