Islamabad: Government of Pakistan awarded all dignitaries related to defense, foreign affairs, information with the national awards for their contribution in the operation Bunyanun Marsoos.
The government awarded field Marshal and Chief of Army Staff Syed Asim Munir Hilal-e-Jurat, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Sahir Shamshad Mirza Nishan-e-Imtiaz, Air Chief Marshal Zahir Ahmed Baber Siddhu with Hilal-e-Jurat.
Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Minister Information Attaullah Tarar, Advisor to PM on foreign affairs Tariq Fateemi were awarded Nisahn-e-Imtiaz.
They were given the awards for their valuable roles in the operation Bunayanun Marsoos and ensuring running the all affairs of the government during the war.
