ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Iran relations have been restored, the ambassadors of both countries have resumed their duties.
Ambassadors of Iran and Pakistan resumed diplomatic responsibilities in each other’s countries. Pakistan’s ambassador to Iran Mohammad Mudassar Tipu is in Tehran. In a statement, it was said that Iran’s ambassador to Pakistan, Reza Amiri Moghaddam, is already in Pakistan.
It should be noted that in recent days, Iran violated Pakistan’s airspace and launched a missile attack on a small village in Pangjur area of Baluchistan, in which 2 girls were martyred and 3 were injured.
Pakistan had expelled Iran’s ambassador and recalled its ambassador to Tehran.
The next day, Pakistan responded strongly to Iran’s attacks by targeting terrorist hideouts in Sistan, in which several terrorists were reportedly killed.
Iran’s official media also confirmed the attacks by Pakistani forces in Sistan and said that there were no Iranian citizens killed in the attacks.
