Islamabad: District and Session Court Islamabad today sent Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) senior leader Fawad Chaudhry on judicial remand.
The court heard the case of inciting hatred against Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) by the PTI leader.
Former federal minister presented before the court of district and session court Islamabad. While Fawad Chaudhry counsel and his brother Faisal Chaudhry insisted the court to open the shackles of Fawad Chaudhry after which on the court orders his shackles were opened.
Prosecution demanded further physical remand of Fawad Chuadhry while the court was apprised the accused was taken to Lahore from Islamabad yesterday.
Judge questioned that what was the importance of photogrammetric test of Fawad Chaudhry? to which, the prosecutor responded that the aim of the photogrammetric test was to know the identity of the actual person while mobile, laptop and other devices of Fawad Chaudhry has to be recovered.
A counsel of the ECP didn’t insist further physical remand of the Fawad Chaudhry while he said that we have to just conduct a photogrammetric test of him and it was conducted.
The court sent Fawad Chaudhry to Adiyal jail on the judicial remand.
Earlier, Fawad Chaudhry was presented before the district and session court judge Waqas Ahmed Raja after completion of his two days physical remand.
