LAHORE: The lifeless body of Dr. Ahmad Latif was found in his vehicle parked at Lahore Children’s Hospital, citing official sources.
It was revealed that Dr. Latif worked in the hospital’s hematology department. His car had been stationary for four days, unnoticed by anyone until the discovery.
Authorities also recovered some medications near the scene. Despite his unexplained absence from work for several days, no alarm was raised initially.
In response, the hospital management has formed a four-member inquiry panel to investigate the circumstances leading to his death. The committee will be led by Professor Dr. Saima Farhan, with members including Dr. Ali Abuzar, Dr. Hafiz Atif Nazir, and Dr. Ayesha Khanam. They are expected to submit their report within 24 hours.
