Karachi: Dollar has broken all the previous record in inter-bank market as well as open market today.
As per the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), after an uptick of Rs 8. 71 the greenback clossed in the inter-bank on the highest level of Rs 298. 93 paisa.
Yesterday dollar was closed at 290. 22. in the interbank market.
Earlier in the day, Dollar rammed through Pakistan rupees as it made triple century 300 in open market.

Secretary Exchange Companies Association (ECA)Zafar Paracha said that owing to political instability in the country the dollar price is increasing.
Zafar Paracha said that the price of dollar should not be increased in interbank market as it traded bank to bank while (letters of credit) LC’s are also not opening constantly these days.
He said that it seems that money making work is going on due to bad political situation in the country.
