WASHINGTON: President Donald Trump on Tuesday night telephoned Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and invited him to visit United States later this year, said White House.
According to the details, bilateral defence and economic cooperation were also came under discussion during the telephonic call between the two premiers.
White House said in a readout of the call, ” President Trump emphasized that the US considers India a true friend and partner in addressing challenges around the world.”
