Karachi (July 23, 2018): The poor donkey, who was named ‘Hero’, after it was beaten by political workers, was being treated by ACF Animal Rescue, and passed away on Monday.

Earlier on July 16, animal was became a target of violence, by supporters of a political party who wrote the name of a political rival on the donkey’s body and thrashed brutally.
According to sources, animal was beaten and bruised, punched in the face and abdomen several times. His nose was broken and he had been kicked all over his body until he collapsed.
Furthermore, donkey had rope marks and a car was rammed into him. The animal’s nostrils were ripped apart and his face was bleeding when he was handed over to ACF Animal Rescue.
Later, brutal incident of animal violence caused an uproar by animal lovers on multiple social media platforms.
