Dubai Day Night Test: Pakistan beats West Indies by 56 runs

DUBAI: Pakistan has defeated West Indies 56 runs in its 400th match and has taken a lead of 1-0 in three match series.

The last day of Day and night Test match began in Dubai. West Indies continued its batting with required 251 runs for victory, while Pakistan needed eight wickets for victory; hence West Indian batsmen stood firm against Pakistani bowlers. Daren Bravo stood on one end and constantly scored runs. Pakistan took two wickets in the beginning; hence after five wickets down, Bravo stepped forward for victory with an addition of 70 runs, but Yasir Shah and Wahab Riaz succeeded to send Chase and Dwarich to pavilion.

At last Daren Bravo was out bowled by Yasir Shah at 116 runs and from there West Indies started to lose the match. West Indian team could not tolerate the pressure and the whole team was out at 289 runs. Pakistan’s bowler Mohammed Amir took three wickets, while Yasir Shah and Mohammed Nawaz took two wickets each. Azhar Ali was declared man of the match over scoring triple century in Test match.
