WEB DESK: Famous YouTuber Saadur Rehman, widely recognized as Ducky Bhai, has leveled serious allegations of physical and emotional abuse during his custody under the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA). Rehman became visibly emotional as he recounted incidents of being slapped, insulted, and used as an example to intimidate a child during interrogation by a senior officer.
Rehman was apprehended on August 17 of this year at Lahore Airport on charges of money laundering tied to a gambling application, as he was preparing to leave the country.
He remained under NCCIA custody for nearly three months before securing bail from the Lahore High Court (LHC) on November 26.
In a video uploaded to his YouTube channel, Rehman shared his alleged experiences in custody, claiming he was subjected to beatings, verbal humiliation, and mistreatment during interrogation.
Directly accusing former NCCIA Lahore Additional Director Sarfraz Chaudhry, Rehman detailed that during questioning, he was slapped multiple times, verbally abused with offensive language, forced into a stress position, and even subjected to a video call where a child was encouraged to insult him.
He described being led into the additional director’s office while handcuffed and recounted how Chaudhry initially questioned him about his alleged role as the “country head” of an application. When Rehman clarified that he was a YouTuber with eight million subscribers earning revenue through ads, Chaudhry’s demeanor reportedly shifted to anger.
Rehman alleged that Chaudhry accused him of corrupting the nation’s youth, verbally abused him, and repeatedly slapped him during the interrogation. “He didn’t stop until he felt satisfied. I lost count of how many slaps were delivered,” Rehman claimed.
According to his account, Chaudhry then forced him into a physically taxing position—bending his legs and raising his hands—and made a video call with a seven-year-old child, using this as an opportunity to exemplify the consequences of consuming Rehman’s content.
In September, Chaudhry was dismissed from his position following several controversies, including the alleged mistreatment of Rehman. Subsequently, in October, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested Chaudhry along with six other NCCIA officers on charges of abuse of authority and bribery.
