ISLAMABAD: A 5.5 magnitude earthquake jolted Islamabad, Abbottabad and other adjoining areas.
As per details, the tremors sent people rushing out of their homes and offices to open spaces and secure places. The quake also hit Gilgit, Sakaru, Baltistan and other areas.
The tremor was also felt in Peshawar, Shangla, Mansehra, Batagram, and other areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to officials, the magnitude of the quake was 5.5 on Richter scale.
The epicenter of the quake was near Patthan in Northern Areas. There is no report of casualty or damages to properties from any part parts of the country as yet.
