The fate of lingering workers of Pakistan Steel Mills (PSM) seems to an end as Economic coordination Committee (ECC) has decided to pay them salary of two months out of outstanding salaries of five months.
The decision was taken in ECC meeting held under the chair of Finance Minister Ishaq Dar in which the summary of payment of Salary of five months to PSM workers but after discussion the meeting has approved the two months salary for them.
The meeting has also approved the payment of Rs 25 billion to KPK against tits share in hydro energy while it also approved the 4 per cent tax withholding tax on bank transaction till May 31.
