Islamabad: The Election Commission of Pakistan has called an important meeting on February 1 and 2 regarding holding of local bodies election.
All four provincial election commissioners, secretaries local governments, Director military land and secretaries interior will be in attendance.
On first of February consultation regarding local bodies elections in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and cantonment board will be held and later announcement will be made.
The meeting regarding local bodies election in Sindh, Balochistan and Islamabad will be held on February 2.
The ECP also will review working of scrutiny committee regarding the foreign funding case against the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
