Islamabad: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Thursday decided to approach the Supreme Court (SC) over an ambiguity.
A meeting was held in chair of Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Sikandar Sultan Raja over the reserved seats ordered by the SC on July 12 on PTI-SIC petition regarding allotment of special seats.
Sources of the ECP said that in our point of view the PTI is not any institution or organization.
Who is the authority when there is no Intra Party elections was held in the PTI?, the ECP sources said.
The sources said that who is issuing authority for acknowledgment of certificates.
In its earlier meeting, the ECP had decided to implement the SC verdict on the special seats to the PTI.
