Islamabad: The Election Commission of Pakistan on Thursday decided to hold fresh delimitations under the new digital census.
The ECP has also issued schedule of the delimitations across the country. While the ECP has also asked help from all the provincial governments and Statistic Bureau of Pakistan.
The ECP also released notification of the schedule of the new delimitations. The election body has categorically said that the general elections can’t be held in 90 days.
The notification of the new census was issued on August 7 adding that after notification of the new census it is constitutional responsibility to carry out fresh delimitations.
The ECP said that new delimitation will be given final shape till December 14.
