ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has officially endorsed the intra-party elections of Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP), issuing a formal certificate recognizing the party’s internal electoral process.
The intra-party elections were conducted on April 18, 2025, during which Hafiz Muhammad Saad Rizvi was unanimously elected as the sole Central Ameer of the party.
The ECP reviewed the election proceedings and found them in accordance with the relevant legal and procedural requirements. By issuing the certification, the commission reaffirmed TLP’s compliance with the Election Act and upheld its status as a registered political party.
This development marks a key milestone for TLP, reinforcing its commitment to internal party democracy.
