Islamabad: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) Tuesday gave more two weeks time to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) over the matter of show-cause notice to the party chairman Imran Khan.
A four-member bench headed by Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Sikandar Sultan Raja heard show-cause notice served to the PTI through its chief Imran Khan.
The PTI counsel Shah Khawar appeared before the ECP.
The CEC questioned Shah Khawar, what about your record is it completed or not.
The cousel said that we have gotten some information from the foreign chapter adding that if we got two more weeks time so it will be better.
A commission member asked Shah Khawar will it take also an eight years?
The PTI counsel responded that it is ten years old case and we wanted to give the commission a proper documents.
The CEC instructed the PTI counsel to submit reply before two weeks so that arguments could be started.
The case adjourned till September 19.
