ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan has issued a list of Symbols allotted to Political Parties, Tehreek-e-Insaaf and Awami National Party’s symbols not revealed.
The Election Commission has sent the details of election symbols of political parties to the returning officers for the general elections, the election symbols of Tehreek-e-Insaf and Awami National Party have not been sent to the returning officers.
According to the post of the Election Commission, the election symbols of 145 political parties have been sent to the returning officers. In the letter, it has been directed that the respective election symbols should be allotted to the candidate nominated by the political parties. The election symbols of the political parties should not be given to any independent candidate. A list of separate election symbols for independent candidates has been sent.
Pakistan People’s Party parliamentarian has been allotted the symbol of arrow, while Pakistan Muslim League-N has been allotted the symbol of lion, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf ideological has been allotted the symbol of bat, Istehkaam Pakistan Party has been allotted eagle, Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan Kite, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Pakistan has been allotted Kitab, while Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan has been allotted Scales
