Islamabad: Election Commission of Pakistan on Tuesday issued bailable arrest warrants in contempt of the ECP and Chief Election Commissioner (CEC).
The ECP has summoned Imran Khan on March 14 while the election body has directed the Inspector General (IG) police to ensure imposing of warrants .
The ECP in the contempt of the institution and the CEC said that former premier didn’t appear before the court despite several summons issued to him.
The ECP also ordered the PTI chief to submit Rs 50,000 surety bonds.
