Karachi (March 29, 2018): Election commission of Pakistan has published new election lists on display centers, the name of 7.3 million new voters added in the list, while approximately 0.8 million names of deceased are removed from the list.
According to the spokesperson of Election commission of Pakistan, people are being directed to correct and reconfirm their registration of votes before 1st May as after finalizing the lists it may not be amended.
Details further added that Voters can confirm their registration by sending a message on 8300, however, if anyone faces any discrepancy he or she can visit the office of district election commissioner for the correction.
The number of registered voters in electoral rolls reached to 104 million yet, while the registration of new voters are still in the process which is expected to reach at 110 million.
Election commission of Pakistan has already set up about 15 thousand display centers in which 7928 are in Punjab, 2585 in Sindh, 2545 in KPK and 1429 in Balochistan.
