KARACHI: The nomination paper of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) leader Haleem Adil Shaikh to participate in the general election has rejected.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaaf (PTI) leader had submitted the form at Karachi’s NA 238, but his nomination papers have been rejected by the Election Commission of Pakistan.
Haleem Adil Shaikh’s lawyer said that the rating officer told verbally that Haleem Adil Shaikh is accused of the incidents of May 9.
Halim Adil Shaikh said that the decision of the Election Commission is illegal, they will challenge it in the court and hope for justice from the courts.
It should be noted that the process of checking the nomination papers submitted by the political leaders for the general elections scheduled on February 8 will continue till December 30.
Scrutiny of papers of certain minority and women candidates will begin from December 26.
It should also be remembered here that Haleem Adil Sheikh is arrested in 3 more cases.
