Islamabad: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Wednesday notified the names of 74 returned candidates against the reserved seats for women and non-Muslims in the National Assembly, Khyber Pakhtunkwha, Punjab and Sindh assemblies.
The ECP has announced the returned seats after June 27 verdict of the Supreme Court in the reserved seats case hearing.
According to the ECP notification, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz got 13 seats, Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarians four and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Pakistan two seats in the National Assembly.
In the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, JUI clinched ten seats, PML-N and PPPP seven each, while Awami National Party bagged one slot.
In the Punjab Assembly, the PML-N won 23 seats, PPPP two, Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party and Pakistan Muslim leage bagged one each.
In the provincial assembly of Sindh, PPPP got two seats and the Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan won one seat.
