Islamabad: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) is unhappy over the Supreme Court verdict ordering the election body to give special seats to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
The ECP has decided to approach the SC for a review petition in the SIC and PTI reserved case. The body has directed a legal team to prepare for the review petition.
According to the ECP, under the constitution, the independent candidates have been given a hiatus of three day.
On the other hand, the top court has given a time of 15 days. The ECP has also objected on not submitting the party tickets.
