Islamabad: The high command of the Election Commission Of Pakistan (ECP) will sit together again.
The ECP top brass will consult attorney general of Pakistan on President Dr Arif Alvi order to hold elections on April 9 in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa after end of tenure of caretake set up in the two provinces.
The election body had said yesterday that it will continue consultation on the President letter regarding holding of elections in Punjab and Sindh
The important Election Commission of Pakistan huddle chaired by Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Sikandar Sultan Raja has decided to hold consultation with attorney general and constitutional experts.
The ECP members, secretary ECP and Law wing representatives were in attendance.
