Efforts to eradicate terrorism will continue, Prime Minister

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has stated that our struggle to eradicate terrorism from the country will continue.

A review meeting on the law and order situation was held in Islamabad under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

The meeting was attended by Federal Ministers including Azam Nazeer Tarar, Mohsin Naqvi, Ahad Cheema, Attaullah Tarar, the Prime Minister’s Advisor on Inter-Provincial Relations Rana Sanaullah, State Minister Talal Chaudhry, Barrister Saif, the Interior Ministers of Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir, as well as Chief Secretaries and IGPs from all provinces, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Kashmir.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister stated that, we will give a devastating defeat to the terrorists so that they will not dare to look at Pakistan with evil intentions.

He noted that, the enemies of Pakistan are fearful of our economic successes and commended the efforts of all institutions and provinces in the fight against terrorism.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif emphasized that the federal government would fully cooperate with the provinces to enhance their capabilities for the complete eradication of terrorism, urging everyone to put aside their differences and work together to eliminate terrorism.

He further mentioned that, the brave personnel and officers of the security forces are tirelessly fighting against the terrorists.

The Prime Minister has directed that, the net around human trafficking networks be further tightened, smugglers be brought to justice, and the Safe City projects in key cities of the country be completed as soon as possible.
