LAHORE: The price of Eggs increased in Lahore and other cities of Punjab while the price of chicken meat remain unchanged.
As per the latest rate list issued by the District Commissioner’s office, the per dozen price of eggs surged by Rs3, bringing the total to Rs293 in the provincial capital.
The hike in egg prices has been part of a consistent upward trend observe over the past few days, raising concerns among consumers.
In contrast, the price of chicken meat remained unchanged, with the rate for per kg standing at Rs591. The wholesale price for live chicken has fixed at Rs394 per kg, while the retail rate was Rs.408 per kg.
