Lahore: Egregious situation of smog prevailed in Punjab as its capital Lahore is on top of the list in the most polluted cities of the world.
The Air Quality Index recorded 1,459 while people of city were feeling difficulty in taking breath.
Visibility turned very low in the various areas of Lahore.
Intensive smog reign reported in Mall road, Canal road, Faisal round about, Ferozpur road, Jail road, Thokar Niyazbaig, Quaid-e-Azam Interchange, Gajumata and surrounding areas.
On the other hand the motorway linked with the city has been closed.
