WEB DESK: Eight people, including a woman and four children, died after a cargo truck collided with a passenger car in Ghazni city, local police said Wednesday.
The crash happened in the Rawza Kotol area, within the city’s First Security District, according to the Taliban-run provincial police command.
Road accidents kill dozens of people across Afghanistan each year. Excessive speed, driver negligence, unsafe roads and disregard for traffic rules are among the commonly cited causes.
