KARACHI: Rescue authorities reported that at least eight individuals drowned while swimming at various locations across Karachi on Thursday.
Out of those eight, three individuals were successfully rescued, while efforts continue to locate the remaining five victims. The incidents include a tragedy at Manora Point, where five people drowned—rescue teams saved three others, but two individuals are still missing. Additionally, two young men drowned in Hub Dam, and a child lost their life in the Hub River. Rescue teams are actively working to recover the missing persons.
