LAHORE: Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Senator Siraj-ul-Haq has said that elections without electoral reforms will be meaningless, adding that transparent and unbiased elections are need of nation.
In a statement released from Jamaat-e-Islami center Mansoura, JI Ameer Siraj-ul-Haq said that candidates did not care of limitations regulated by Election Commission in by-elections, adding that candidates spent funds in abundance. He said that election is only the game of riches, while there is no place for poor in it. He said that if Election Commission could not make parties to implement on electoral rules, then elections will be meaningless.
