ISLAMABAD: Electricity has been reduced across the country by Rs.1.79 per unit under the monthly fuel adjustment charges
According to the notification, NEPRA has lowered the electricity rate by Rs. 1.79 per unit under the fuel adjustment charges.The notification states that this reduction applies to the July 2025 monthly fuel price adjustment. The decreased rates will be applicable to K-Electric and distribution company consumers.
Consumers will see this relief reflected in their September bills.The Central Power Purchasing Agency (CPPA) had requested a reduction of Rs. 1.69 per unit in the July adjustment.This reduction in fuel adjustment charges will provide approximately Rs. 2.45 billion in relief to consumers.
