Islamabad: The electric price has increased for Karachi consumers by Rs 1.71 under the quarterly adjustment charges.
The National Electric Price Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has issued a detailed verdict regarding the K-electric.
The increase will be applicable from Jaunary 1st next year.
Karachi consumers will have to pay April, May and June current year adjustment charges of 48 paisa per unit from January to March next year.
On the other hand, adjustments rates of Rs 1.24 paisa per unit on July, August and September of current year will be recovered in January next year.
The electricity prices have hiked on the petition of the federal government.
