KABUL: At least 10 police officials and six militants were killed in encounters with the Taliban here on Tuesday.
As per Afghan media, at least 20 people including 10 police personnel and six militants were killed in Paktika province of Afghanistan during encounters with the Taliban. Several others were injured in the process.
The police in an operation killed six Taliban and injured several others. Meanwhile, in Nangarhar’s Jalalabad city four blasts were reported. Four people were killed and 16 others were injured in reported blasts.
However, no group has claimed the responsibility for the attacks.
