10 people die due to electrocution after monsoon rains in Karachi

At least 10 people were dead due to electrocution after monsoon rains in Karachi, Governor of Sindh, Ishrat-ul-Ibad took notice of dead in rains, caused by electricity wires and poles, while roads were turned into ponds in first rain of monsoon after two years in Karachi.

Rains exposed the work of district administration, while their claims to avoid emergency situation were not fulfilled, as 10 people were dead due to electrocution in Karachi.

Whereas, six people were dead in Malir, Machar colony, Nazimabad, Baldiya and Cant station, while two people including a minor child were dead due to electric shocks.

However, Ishrat-ul-Ibad has taken notice, but no step has been taken so far to avoid loss.
