Dhaka (October 10, 2017): Pakistan will play its first match against Bangladesh while India will play against Japan of the 10th Asia Hockey Cup on the opening day of the 10th Asia Hockey Cup kicks here tomorrow.
Pakistan is placed in group-A alongside arch-rival India Japan and host Bangladesh. The pool-B comprises Malaysia, South Korea, China and Oman.
Bangladesh has become the second venue after Kuala Lumpur to host Asia Cup Men’s Hockey twice as the 10th Asia Cup takes place from 2017 October 11-22.
In all eight teams will be competing to decide the automatic qualifier for 2018 Hockey World Cup as the winner gets direct entry.
