QUETTA: At least 11 persons died and 18 others were injured, including women and children, in a collision between wagon and tractor-trolley in Mastung district of Balochistan on Tuesday.
A tractor-trolley and wagon collided head-on due to wet conditions after rain, rescue team said.
A wagon caught fire after the accident that destroyed it completely, eye-witnesses said.
The rescue teams rushed to the spot and shifted the bodies and injured to the Shaheed Nawab Ghoush Baksh Memorial Hospital, however, those who suffered severe injuries were shifted to Quetta Civil Hospital after medical aid.
The deceased were Afghan nationals and belonged to the same family. They were travelling from Karachi’s Malir to Quetta’s Qila Abdullah for condolences, the rescue team said.
