Newly appointed Chief Selector of Pakistan Cricket Team Inzamam Ul Haq has said that he did not come to end someone career adding that Shoaib Malik and Kamran Akmal still have to play cricket and teams will be selected on basis of fitness and performance.
Talking to media after prize distribution ceremony of Muslim Gymkhana over its 46th anniversary at Bagh-e-Jinnah Cricket Ground, Lahore, the chief selector said that short term and long term strategy was discussed in selection committee meeting.
Inzamam clarified that he did not assume his office to end someone’s cricketing career but strict action would be taken those who caused disturbance to the team’s discipline.
