Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi has sought lawyers cooperation over the Panama leaks. He said that Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) wanted to hide facts by not constituting independent commission adding that Army Chief has proved that there is not sacred cow.
Talking to media after meeting Lahore High Court Bar (LHCB) office bearers Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that LHCB were playing its role against corruption already, while , lawyers community have decided not to remain quiet against corruption which is plausible.
He said that he presented his party point of view before the bar and will try to meet lawyers expectation.
The PTI leader went on to say that the PML-N wanted to make ‘showpiece’ commission and expressing objection to forensic audit of the Panama leaks. On a query, Qureshi said that loot and plunder have made country slave of International Monetary Fund.
He praised the Army Chief initiative against the corruption which proved that there is no sacred cow in the country.
