Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) has completed preparation to stage sit-in in front of Punjab Assembly over the issue of the Panama leaks, while, JI chief Siraj Ul Haq has demanded to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to resign from his post till investigation into the Panama leaks completed.
According to the JI spokesman, the party will stage sit-in demonstration outside the Punjab assembly on April 24. In this connection, JI has completed preparations by forming administrative committees on district level.
The protest will be addressed by the JI chief Siraj Ul Haq and others leaders of the party. The demonstration will force the government to carry out independent and neutral probe into the Panama leaks.
At the occasion, the JI chief will also announce next strategy in his address. Siraj Ul Haq said that the Panama leaks have unearthed faces that looted nation and made money adding that accountability should be started from the PM instead of taxi driver.
