Last rites of special advisor to Chief Minister (CM) Khyber Pakhtunkha (KP), Soran Singh performed on Saturday at local crematorium in Pir Baba area in Buner.
The last rites were attended by the CM Pervez Khattak and important dignitaries of the province and large number of people. Other important personalities who participated in the ceremony were provincial minister for religious affairs Habib Ur Rehman, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Malakand, Azad Khan and advisor to the CM Shakil Khan.
Strict security measures had been taken on the occasion. Leaders who attended the ceremony said that Soran Singh was brave human being.
Unidentified assailants shot dead Soran Singh outside his home in Buner on last night. Police has lodged FIR against unknown assailants and started investigation.
The slain Soran Singh was elected as MPA on minority seats from KP assembly behalf of Pakistan Tehreek Insaf (PTI).
