As many as four Lyari gang war gangsters were killed in a shootout with police in Dalmiya neighborhood of Karachi, while arms and ammunition also recovered from the criminals possession.
Police said that they raided the area on information that the criminals were present in the area.
The criminals opened fire on the police in retaliation police also took action and the four criminals got killed.
Talking about the police action Superintendent of Police (SP) Dr Fahad said that arms and ammunition which police recovered from the gang war criminals are one Kalashnikov , two pistols, hand grenades and four riffles. The SP also informed that the gangsters were involved in serious criminals activities and wanted to police in many cases.
Moreover, in another incident mob grabbed two robbers in Quaid-e-Abad area of city and tortured them and later the dacoits handed over to rangers.
The robbers were snatching valuables in ice-cream parlor in the area that area people succeeded to grab them.
