PCB decides to appoint Mudasir Nazar as director cricket academies

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to appoint Mudasir Nazar as director National Cricket Academies (NCA) and graduation requirement for the post also quashed for the former all-rounder.  His  appointment will be made public within few days.

The PCB sources said that Mudasir Nazar is the unanimous choice for the post by board of governors due to his vast experience in coaching and administration.

The new post NCA,  is part of change in the PCB after desperate performance by the Pakistan team in Asia Cup and World T-20.

As a director of NCA, his duty is to talent hunt around the country as well as later groom the found talent. Bringing change in domestic cricket infrastructure in the country  also lies in his domain.

The star all-rounder has represented the country in  76 tests and 122 ODI’s. Mudasir remained coach of the national team in 2001-2002 as well as the coach for senior team and Pakistan A.

He has been serving as a coach in International Cricket Council (ICC) global academy for many years.

He is all set to resign from the ICC academy due to new responsibility in Pakistan.
